Introduction

The history of Indian Architecture, as a part of civilization, is one of the oldest. The evolution of architecture has its deep roots in the faiths and believes of the Indian subcontinent people. The knowledge of cosmic-solar and natural environments, the geographical understandings of the same has finally emerged as a practical science of architecture known as "VASTUSHASTRA" that is typically Indian.
 
The introduction of variety of building materials coupled with their ability to support a particular form and size of a building has added to the wealth of the knowledge that INDIANS already possessed.
 
With expanding global economies, mass migration of people from rural to urban areas as a result of mass transport systems available, the demand of architecture has increased manifolds.
 

ST. WILFREDS INSTITUTE OF ARCHITECTURE, AJMER is one of the committed partner in meeting the challenge of ARCHITECTURAL demands.

The Institution: Approved by the Council of Architecture (C.O.A.) New Delhi, and affiliated is RTU Kota, the institution came into existence in July 2011.

Courses offered: B. Arch (Bachelor of Architecture)

No. of Seats (intake): 40 seats in B. Arch (architecture) of interior Designing were approved by COA. The 40 seats of interior Designing are to be converted into Architecture as per the guidelines issued by COA this will make the total intake 80 in are Architecture from 2012 onwards.

Duration: 5 Years

Eligibility: The Counsel of architecture has laid down the following academic qualification for admission to 1st year Branch course 

A) 10+2= Equivalent examination from a recognize course with mathematics as a subject of study by securing 50% marks in aggregate 
                                                                         OR

B) 10+3 diploma (any stream) recognized by central/ state government 50% Aggregate marks.
                                                                         OR

C) International baccalaureate Diploma, after 10 years of schooling in the not less than 50% Marks in aggregate and with mathematics as compulsory object of Examination.
 

 

  1. For the candidates belonging SC, ST, and OBC categories the eligibility of aggregate marks is 45% marks in the above mentioned examination.
  2. All adminissions   B.Tech, degree course shall be subject passing of National Aptitude Test Architecture (NATA) conducted by C.O.A.
  3. The minimum pass marks/ score for NATA is 80 out of 200 for all categories of candidates. There is no relaxation in the minimum score of NATA is any category of candidate.
  4. The Management of the faculty: The Institution is managed from by St. Wilfred’s Education Society, Jaipur.
  5. It is presently headed by for Mr. Sudesh Yadav and his qualified and dedicated then of young and experienced Architects Mr. Yadav has an experience of more than 18 years in the field of Architecture.
  6. Infratechture of Facilities: the institution runs in a newly constructed building having spavins drawing studies library, computer lab, workshop and class rooms. The institution fulfills all the norms lard by COA for running B.Arch. Degree course.
  7. Coaching and Guidance for NATA :  The Institution conduct classes for students appearing   for NATA on a very normal charges during 20141, 90% of its students selected/ cleared NATA and joined B. Arch. 1st Year
